So this was started sometime in October of 2008 and I didn't finish it until today because I just wanted to flood my gallery with stuff. It wasn't so bad since all I realllly had to do was shade the dress.

I was inspired when I saw a (relatively bad) scan of Beryl and Mao in prom attire! So I used one of Beryl's character pictures from the game as a reference. Makes me wish there was prom in Disgaea 3.

I was going to make Mao in a tux, I have done some of the partial line art, but I lazy to finish ^^; Sorry orz

edit: I've been asked if I can be possible be <strike>bribed</strike> commisioned into finishing Mao in a Tux. The answer is maybe, send me a note and we'll talk.

oh I've realized I forgot to do minor shading. Oh well!

I was also like it to be noted that I colored the horns and eyes myself, they aren't copied and pasted from the reference pic. I did a good job didn't I?

Thank you for honesty. I see a lot of people do a crappy job in overcoloring a luckystar pic, claiming it's their OC, and not even mention the anime luckystar in it.
And you did a very. very good job. I'm very sad that there is only 1 pretty bad scan op the prom thing on the internet. I want it high quality, and use it as a cover for my agenda. D: It's such an great epic picture, I mean, Mao is even blushing in it. :iconhurrplz: SQUEE~eee

Anyway, very VERY lovely drawing. Have you played the raspberyl DLC already? :3

Ah your welcome. There's no way I could claim this as original, I'd get ban-hammered so quickly. The partial red lines was my fun twist to make this more of my own. So much effort went to making lineart and then coloring it to like like the original art. The eyes on the demon skull was so hard to mimic. I still gushing over how well I did on the horns though.

I have played the Raspberyl DLC. It was fun :3 There should be a prom DLC. That would be awesomeness.

Well, most people who copy stuff, don't say much in their authors comments. Than nobody can claim they did something wrong. But you're being honest, and did a far far FAR better job than usual overcolors.
Just GAH, I'm really amazed. Lol, yeah, she have that weird circle in her skull's eyes, as if it sucks you in another dimention, and those horns...wooow.^_^ You really did a good job.
